All kinds of accommodations are plentiful throughout Costa Rica. The Caribbean side of the country is very inexpensive, the Pacific side a bit more upscale.
We can find you tent space, hostels or put you in a hammock hotel - all for less than $10 a night. We have 2 and 3 star hotels starting around $20 a night and 5 star resorts up in the $150 to $300 range.
We can even put you in an honest-to-god, multi-bedroom tree house. You don't get closer to nature than this. Exotic birds entertain and beautiful butterflies come calling.
There are also not-to-be-believed luxury villas available for rent. Our family, 15 of us, stayed in the house below and it was pure heaven. This gorgeous house is situated in a forest overlooking the Pacific.

A troop of spider monkeys came by just after dawn every day, and returned in the evening. It became our morning ritual to have our coffee by the pool as the troop came through. Further back in the forest, you can hear the occasional barks of howler monkeys. You won't believe the sounds that come from these small animals.
The house came with a maid, a gardener, a pool guy, private security and a great property manager that looked after our every need. We hired a cook to make our decadence complete.
